I’m a writer. I’ve been writing since I was a young boy. Words, in every form, become music in my brain. The best way to describe this part of my journey would be that of exploration and discovery. The lyrics that I have written and turned into songs cross genres and styles. My roots are as a country boy, listening to Cash, Willie, Waylon and the boys, Dolly, Tammy and George and on and on. That music, as well as my heritage, helped shape my storytelling. But, how I hear a song in my head can be the sounds from the 60’s all the up to now. Male, female or duet. Country, Pop, R&B, Folk, Rockabilly. It’s a vibe.
